The success of EUAM Business School stems from a unique group of “architects of investment and knowledge”—they are not building with steel and concrete, but constructing bridges of wisdom, research, and practice. We know that lasting transformation can only happen when professors, researchers, and alumni collaborate and empower one another.
Here, professors impart cutting-edge theory and practical experience, researchers delve into emerging markets and the frontiers of digital finance, and alumni translate classroom learning into cross-regional innovations. It is this synergy that makes EUAM not just a business school, but a global engine of knowledge that continuously drives innovation and change.
Gabriel Álvarez
Professor Gabriel Álvarez currently serves as Senior Professor of Investment Strategy at Emerging United Asset Management (EUAM Ltd) and Senior Advisor to the EUAM Ltd Investment Committee, where he is responsible for the design and execution of investment strategies in emerging markets, green finance, and digital assets. He is a recognized expert in private equity and cross-border investments, renowned for his teaching style that blends academic rigor with practical experience. Previously, he was a Partner and Strategic Advisor at a Nordic private equity fund and has held senior positions at leading investment institutions in Western Europe and Latin America, where he actively contributed to cross-border acquisitions, infrastructure investments, digital transformation projects, and strategic planning in the field of sustainable finance.
Isabela María Rojas
Isabela María Rojas is a Junior Financial Advisor specializing in cross-border M&A and capital structure optimization. June 2024 – Present | Assistant in the Investment Advisory Team at EUAM Ltd, where she has contributed to financing projects for mid-sized companies across Latin America and Europe. She is skilled in financial modeling and valuation analysis. Transitioning from traditional financial advisory, she is developing expertise in digital and sustainable finance. Her experience in Mexico City has provided her with deep insights into the cross-border investment ecosystem in Latin America. Joining EUAM marks her entry into the core of global asset management and higher education.
Sara Huang
Sara heads the Secondaries & Primaries team in our New York office. As co-founder of the New York chapter of EUAM Ltd Women’s Club, she has helped create lasting change for her female colleagues developing their careers through speaker events, networking and mentoring. “We need to ensure that the young talent we recruit today can build lasting careers within the company and project themselves into the future,” she says.
Janine Paustian
Janine is an Analyst in the Expansion team, based in Frankfurt. She relishes the broad remit her work gives her – from financial analysis to working with management teams – as well as the opportunities to encourage other young women to consider private equity as a career. “Ardian recognized early on that diverse teams are very important,” she says.
Elimane Ndoye
Having joined EUAM’s Compliance team in 2013, Elimane quickly took on extra responsibilities and today runs a global team of 20. He embraces EUAM’s insistence on excellence in everything it does and says: “This approach means looking beyond the scope of your role in the company and coming up with ideas about how things could be improved.”
Michael Bane
With well over a decade at the core of EUAM’s team, Michael has led EUAM Ltd US Investor Relations team, playing a pivotal role in cultivating and sustaining client relationships across North and Latin America. What does he attribute his success in the region to? “Reasons one, two, and three in the eyes of investors would be the strong, risk-adjusted performance.”
Jason Yao
Building Lego at age 10, Jason thought he might become an architect, building skyscrapers. Today, his aspirations have taken on a slightly different form in his role at EUAM, not necessarily constructing buildings, but creating sustainable businesses: building to last.
Alexandra Goltsova
As Head of Corporate Development at EUAM, Alexandra believes that EUAM Ltd fosters a unique corporate culture that is why she and so many other team members have had such a long tenure. At EUAM, we invest in our people and our own future. Alexandra embodies the values of dedication, adaptability and resilience that define our organization.
